I've had a Vigilante stall in my car for about 80k miles / 9 years. I like it, and haven't had one problem with it.

We sell atleast 100 Precision converters a year and have had great luck with them.

402GOAT that damage looks like what we have seen from impropper converter spacing. No matter whos converter you install you HAVE to check for propper pump engaugement. Sometimes the converters require shims between the converter and the flexplate. It is completely normal, but if the spacing isn't checked failures like you had are the result.

I have had 3 different Precision converters in 3 different vehicles over the years. The quality has been as good as anyone elses (any mechanical item can be faulty or can be broken) but get ready to get "Jack-ed" if you have a problem. Anyone who has ever had a warranty issue with them and dealt with Jack will know what I am trying to say.....

Yep, a Vig 3800. Love it way better than the TCI 3500.

This is what happens when you don't check your spacing and you pull the converter to far from the pump. Looks like you didn't install it right to me... Did you check your spacing or just throw it in there and bolt it in?

I have a Vig 3500. . I liked my Yank SS4000 better but i wanted to be more consistent with ET's so I put the vig back in. I have no complaints.
