Default where to purchase 4L80e overhaul parts

I was wondering where the best/cheapest place to purchase a 4L80e refresh/rebuild kit - I have a 1993 unit at the builder right now and I was told the internals look pretty good. I have looked at a couple of kits at Monster Transmission, but was wondering what everyone here recommends? Looking to support 600 RWHP. I basically need to purchase the rebuild parts as well as electronics upgrade as its the old style plug.

If there is a site sponsor I will favor their business

I like bulkpart.com for basic parts. Sponsors here can help out with custom parts. Jake Shoe is a sponsor here and will help you out with parts for the 4l80 if you need anything.

Why can't your builder get what he needs?

The same question from me. I want to build tranny locally but I'm sure builders don't have any experience with 4L80E or even 4L60E. So I need to decide myself which parts should I get so that tranny would be able to be live happily with 800whp. So please advice what should I buy?

If they dont have the experience, you will be better off finding a builder that does. Most of the tricks to get them to live are not so much in the rebuild kit (seals, clutches, etc) but in the modifications to improve a transmissions weak areas. Experience=Long lasting trans.

I won't find builder in this part area. Fbodies are very rare here, and mine is only one racing in this country. Noone will have experience with 4L80E's
