Bolt it on just like a th350, th400, 700, etc. Converter pilot spacer and flexplate mods.
Or custom built old style converter with LS1 type crank pilot and mounting pads.

Read the stickey threads or search, this is asked a lot.

Well Jay, I looked all over the place before i posted the thread. I even looked at comparisons of the 2 transmisiions. I know the early 4L60E will bolt on i did not know i would need a new flex plate and this spacer you mentioned. Im taking it that means the early 4L60e the converter sits back a little further than the ones that come with the LS1. or the converter used is diffrent? So the LS1 PCM,and harness will plug into and control the early 4l60e? If you know where the thread is and can guide me there it would be much help. Thanks

This was on page two https://ls1tech.com/forums/automatic...0r4-4l60e.html .
You didn't ask about plugging the LS electrical into the 1995 transmission so I didn't comment, but thats not going to work.

I said above, it won't work. Maybe with some heavy modifications it might, never tried it so I don't know.
