Default 4l60e getting stuck, not shifting propertely

Well my issue is that my auto transmission is getting stuck in gear when i get around 50mph it gets stuck i believe 3rd and doesnt shift up propertely and have to give it a lot of gas for it to shift? Car is a z28 with 100k miles

You need to have car scanned for codes first you may have and electrical issue or sensor out of range

It doesnt have codes as far as i know would a tranny shop check it?

so do you think it can be internal from the tranny or something that can be fixex?

Well and internal issue is always possible however shift issues as far as timing and kickdown are generaly not trans but electrical issues. You need to find out if and or when the command to shift is being given via a scanner or tuner.

No actually any good scanner gives data and u can watch it shift and c if solenoids are working properly. you most likely have a bad sol. or a sticking valve in valvebody
