will a 2004 gto Auto Trans fit my 1998 Auto TA Im wondering if I can swap a 2004 GTO 5.7 4l60e trans in to my 1998 Trans am to replace my 4l60e.Both are stock everything. Im mostly concerned about the harness and computer. Also removing the tail to add the bar for stability. Let me know? Is it a strait forward swap or does it require more? Has it been done? Does the 2004 Gto have the upgraded sun shell? Thanks in advance.
I need this info quick my buddys GTO gets repoed any day now and I might be able to use his trans and save some bucks on a much needed build.

So your saying yes no problems easy as pie? Or yes you will have issues.Sorry I have to be 100%,Since im going to be taking two out and puting 2 in. I dont want to do a swap back. I dont plan on swaping tranny computers.
