Default B&M SuperCooler 70264 question

Alright I have installed my supercooler and have not yet started the car. While I was working on a couple of small projects I started looking at the cooler and thought maybe one side should be in and the other out. The instructions don't mention anything about it. Just want to be sure before I fire it up and test drive it. Thanks
