shift lock control solenoid - isolation diode?

shift lock control solenoid - isolation diode? Trying to hook up the shift lock solenoid to the stock shifter. One wire (grn/wht, normally closed) goes to brake switch, the other (tan/wht) goes to an isolation diode. Any pics what that is or how else I could hook this up? I must have accidentally remove it when race wiring the car.
