4L60E Whine in gear not park or neutral 2000 4L60E no whine in park or neutral. Whines in any forward gear selected. Whines standing still, not mph specific or change. Changes pitch with RPM. Basically park is nice and quiet shift to reverse or drive and whining starts. If I load the engine in drive with foot on the brake the whine gets louder.
