Wow I finally got around to changing my tranny fluid and filter with AMSOIL and WIX, and man I am impressed, it's so smooth you can hardly tell that it's shifting. A compete night and day difference.
For anyone that hasn't changed their tranny oil and filter in an A4, do it..

is this on a stock trans that had never been been done? That might have been the reason it's a night and day. Not that AMSOIL isn't good, its just too damn much $$ for me.

I changed the fluid 3 months ago but did not get around to do the filter so the fluid was still decent when i drained it yesterday. It does feel a lot better though, much nicer then when I put in Mobil 1 next time. I think i'm going to spend a few extra bucks and put it in my wifes car as well.
