Default Trans crossmember for 4L80e swap

I need to get a crossmember for my 4L80e swap. I am keeping the stock rear and and torque arm for now, so I need a unit that'll take the stock torque arm.

I have been looking at the BMR piece:

http://shop.brutespeed.com/BMR-TCC02...BMR-TCC021.htm

but it says it is meant to work with a BRM torque arm, but may work with others by swapping the bushing out.

Before I order - is anyone running this crossmember with a stock bushing/torque arm?

Thanks!

You can definitely run our BMR torque arm relocation transmission crossmember with the factory torque arm, the only thing you are going to need to make it work is the Prothane or Energy replacement torque arm bushing. Other than that it will all bolt right up. If you would like to order one give me a call here at the shop and we can get you taken care of.

Thanks,
Kyle

Kyle,

Is the relocation crossmember the same as the swap crossmember except it has the relocation bracket welded to it?

Reason I am asking is that I can get the V8 conversion moving under it's own power using the stock TA and rear. I can then switch to the Ford 9 later.

Thanks,
Mike

Our relocation crossmember is the same as the conversion crossmember just with a mounting plate added to allow the torque arm to be bolted to it. You can absolutely use our BMR relocation crossmember with the factory torque arm, the only thing you would need to pick up is a Prothane or Energy Suspension torque arm bushing mount to get everything bolted up.
