Default Can shift kits be swapped?

So I have a superior performance shift kit in my car. Its ok but it is no where near as good as the transgo kit that is in my truck. So my question is, can I change the shift kit in the car to a transgo or are the changes made installing the other irreversible? I didn't do the install so I don't have a clue what has to be done. Sorry if this has been answered before but my search didn't yield an answer.

I dont see an issue with doing this. The only thing if memory serves me correctly is the superior kit might have a valve installed in the pump for lock up. If so I would not modify the lock up circuit when installing the transgo kit. HTH Vince

Ok thanks for the info. I'm glad to hear that because I really want to change it out.
