Default Precision Industries..A "stand up" company...

I've used Precision Industries (Vigilante) converters since 1996 and have always had positive experiences with them, but just wanted to share yet another positive experience from them. Most of you know that I sold my Formula a few months ago and on its maiden voyage at the track the freshly built 4L60E took a crap. The new owner decided to order an RPM Level 5 and have the the Vig 4000 freshened and re-stalled to a more track inspired 4400. The converter was originally installed in 1996 as a 3600, freshened in 2004, and then I had it freshened and re-stalled to a 4000 in 2007.

Anyway, Precision told the new owner that the converter was too old to rebuild because of the constant R&D and that they no longer had the parts to freshen it. They, therefore, sent him a brand new Vig 4400 for the cost of a freshening! Just thought I'd let everyone know that even in today's crappy economy there are still good companies around. Kudos to Precision Industries for stepping up and doing a good thing!

I've ran 3-4 different Vigilante converters over the years and always had great customer service from them. Everyone I've recommended to them has also recieved good service and a great product. They're prices are reasonable and they are the only company I've seen with a free restall program.

Ive ran their converters for a good 15 years myself and they allways perform excelently, PI is also very helpful on the phone . After a catastophic tranny failure once, they rebuilt my converter for a mere 250$ and guaranteed their work again!!

Glad to hear it! Thanks for sharing the story. Precision Industries is a great company to deal with. They are the only converter we recommend to our 4L60e customers.
