Default rear transmission housing cracking

I have cracked 2 rear housing in the past week and half. Ive taken it into the shop and they said they have never heard of this happen. Well I would like to know before i keep putting cash into the 1 peice.

Has anyone had this happen to them or know what is could be??

Check the splines on the slip yoke. I twisted the spliones and broke the tailhousing on my T56.

Have you done any suspension work on the car. Make sure your drive shaft is the correct degrees for putting the power out of the gate.

People who have the stock steel driveshaft see this especially after
changing gear ratio upward.
