Default Shift solenoid suppose to be loose?

Ok so. Im having issues with the firmness of my 1-2 shifting. According to the diagram 2-3 solenoid is front passenger side, 1-2 is front driver. I was inspecting and just seeing if I could wiggle any of them and the 2-3 is just moving left and right like a midget banging a **** star. The 1-2 is a tiny bit loose but not that bad.... Will the wiggling solenoid cause the problem? Im sure it has to be sealed to function properly.

Default

The wiggling is normal and the shift solenoids themselves have nothing to do with shift firmness
