the infamous 3&4 4l60e...w a twist
I've had my share of issues with these transmissions, but this one is weird. No I have no checked the filter.
1st and second are fine of course, but 3rd slips like N, and so does od, unless you are barely on the throttle, then everything is fine. If I get on it hard 1st and 2nd, it shifts into all gears like normal and is fine, but then it will slip again eventually (randomly). Every time i've had a problem before in other ones, it either loses everything, or loses 3&4, but its always NO 3&4, not sometimes they work.
This trans is in a 62 bel air with a cammed 5.3, all of 287RWHP, and NEVER gets raced, beat on, or anything. The trans was done 15,000mi ago with the best of the best parts, new drum, new valve body, electronics, and z pak clutches. It shouldnt be slipping. Only time its ever seen hard use is here recently with me trying to make it shift and 3 dyno pulls 2 years ago.
It throws no codes for anything either

Oh I know. I just felt like ranting and hoping for someone to say oh...its this easy **** that will fix it.
