Default My 4l60e shifts way to early in crusing speeds

when i start my car up it revs upto 2200 then goes down to 1k, when i shift it into Drive and accelerate it changes to 2nd at about 10mph then to 3rd at about 20mph then by 35 its on od and bogging. car has a ms3 cam, 4.10s and the tranny is built with a 4400 converter. it used to run fine it just started doing this. thanks!

I would point at the TPS, since this is one of the main sensors the computer uses for timing shifts.

that is located on the throttle body on the right its the bottom sensor under the IAC its a circle flat looking sensor,, and Yes ive swapped for 2 working ones and still acts this way.

Have you had your tuner or anyone put a scanner on it. Possible it could have gone into torque managment or safe mode so to speak cant remember what its acutally called but Ive read about some other guys having problems similar to yours

Mine was doing the same thing after a complete engine/tranny/tc change. My tuner was able to fix it. He just changed the shift points. The factory tune had it shifting at 10, 1-2. He bumped all of them up. I think he went to 16 for the 1-2 shift and so on.

Its called abuse mode I believe...but i don't know much about it except mine is turned off.
