I got a used 4L60 with the complete LS1 dropout I bought to put back in my T/A. It was drained (as much as possible) but still attached to the motor with the stall and everything in tact. How many quarts do I need to buy to fill it up?
I added a tranny cooler and it feels a bit laggy on the shifts now. They say to add an extra qt. with a cooler, but is that ok to do even when the dipstick is showing full? Can you hurt the tranny by overfilling it?
