Default trans cooler lines

i would like to replace my hard trans cooler lines to -6 steel braided lines and some an fittings, but i need to know what size thread and the fittings in the trans and in the cooler. anybody ever do this?

1/4NPT for the trans. 99+ 4L80Es use a special fitting for the rear, same thread size, just long tube off the center

1/2 20 for the radiator cooler

Aftermarket trans coolers can be anything but most commonly are 1/4 or 3/8 NPT, AN6 or nipple

ATI Perf Prods has the correct fittings in #6 or #8
they are 1/4-18 straight threads (i think NPTS)
use the teflon inner stainless lines, some of the rubber inners break down, lots of cheap type stuff flating around you need to avoid
