Strange 4L60E Issue Hi, I will start out by telling you that this is on a 1963 Oldsmobile that has an lq4 and 4l60E swap. I have about 1500 miles on the swap at this point but the transmission has started to act up. The following are the symptoms:
Is this just a sign of the entire trans and converter needing replacement? My biggest question is will the computer limit engine torque if it senses the trans is slipping? I am trying to pinpoint if this is purely a transmission problem or if I have some other electronic or engine issue going on as well. What going wrong with the transmission would cause these symptoms?
