Exclamation trans fluid and flush question

i am going to do my 4l80e swap into my 2002 camaro ss. trans is built 1996 core with trans brake built by jakes performance.
now my 2 questions are,
1. what is the best way to flush all fluid out.
2. what type of trans fluid should be used dex iii? and what brand do you like.
thanks.

Are you looking to flush it yourself? I know most oil/lube shops have a pumping system to fill/flush the tranny, to help ensure all the old stuff is removed. I just had that done on my TA last month.

I used Mobil synthetic ATF, mainly because that's what the shop used, and because I use Mobil-1 oil too. I've read decent things about it over the years, but have no real clue where it generally ranks compared to other brands.

Roger, yeah I don't know much, but not knowing you're own tech level I threw my 2 cents out there for you. But I'm getting that you're on an advanced level, so...

good luck

Regular Dexron is fine.
You can blow brake-clean and compressed air through the lines both directions until they are clean.
