Default identify this th400 shifter!

I have no pics just what I can remember seeing. All you had to do was click it down toward you to shift but when you clicked it it didn't seem as if the shifter moved it just engaged the gear and it also down shifted by itself. I'll try and find a pic of one in the mean time.

Sounds like a B&M pro rachet shifter.. You click to shift & the lever returns to center.

you may be correct it did have a b&m ****... But how does it downshift itself?

b&m ratchet does not downshift by itself. The lever just returns by itself.
