Default Which hose is the pressure side of a 4L80E

Trying to hook up my transmission cooler which hose is the pressure hose front or back hose thanx

Its the lower fitting closer to the front of the trans, thats the pressure port.
Make sure your cooler has its ports facing sideways or straight up, they can not be facing down, air can get trapped in the cooler. IF you mount it sideways, run the pressure line to the bottom of the cooler, so it forces the fluid up thru it.

If you're referring to to the end of the trans that mated to the engine the lower right port is the return port. The upper left is the output side.

If it’s an early model where both ports are in front then the top port is fluid out and bottom is fluid in, late model rear port is fluid return
