Its the lower fitting closer to the front of the trans, thats the pressure port.
Make sure your cooler has its ports facing sideways or straight up, they can not be facing down, air can get trapped in the cooler. IF you mount it sideways, run the pressure line to the bottom of the cooler, so it forces the fluid up thru it.

If it’s an early model where both ports are in front then the top port is fluid out and bottom is fluid in, late model rear port is fluid return
