devastated torque converter

devastated torque converter alright guys, my stroker car has a tranny prob. at about 130mph it acts like i just threw it into nuetral. doesnt grind or make any noise just falls outta gear. havent been able to break 130 because of this? is it possible the torque converter is goin bad? i have to replace it anyways because the bolts broke off in it. 
but im curious if it could be somethin else wrong with the tranny? any ideas or similar problems?

That's an odd problem. It sounds as if the transmission is losing pressure. Have you checked the fluid level? Does the fluid look clean? Have you checked the filter for debris?
