Help ?? 4l60e I have a 4L60E in my S10 behind a 5.3 .. It will not shift out of 2nd to 3rd at all, auto or manually... changed solenoids and didnt fix anything..it shifts 1-2 just fine.. but it just stays in 2nd gear no matter what i try.. now i am lost ?

Same thing was wrong with my trans am when I bought it. I knew before hand the transmission was messed up but I drop it off at a trans shop and was told it was the clutch packs. I would say it's probably time for a rebuild.

You need to start with getting a scanner on it to see if the condition is being commanded or not. If the PCM is not commanding the shift, then identify the cause and go from there.
Chances are though that you have knocked out the 3/4 clutches.
