All the lights come on and pump comes on but as soon as u hit the key it acts like the battery is dead does not even click. Volt meter shows batt is fully charged all connections are good. My concern, i still have the cable that runs from stock shifter to steering wheel sitting in floor board i dont know if there is some safety feature that is preventing car from starting as if u try to start car and its in gear this is how my car is acting what do i have to do to bypass this. Swap was from a4 thanks

You need to hook up the neutral safety switch. The wires are in the plug that is in the factory shifter.look in the stickeys up top to find out which ones

it only states the wires needed for hatch to open and for reverse lights does not indicate the nss

alright got it figured out its the purple w/ white stripe and dark green wire run together and car starts thanks for yalls help

Your welcome. Just finished my th350 swap this weekend. I just have to fix the linkage on the side of the tranny and adjust the cable. Can't wait to let it rip...
