Default 4l60 not getting signal, how do I find the issue?

My 4l60 is in limp mode and not getting any signal. I've unplugged the big plug and the speed sensor and inspected the wiring. It looks ok. Where do I go
From here? All my fuses are ok also. This happened after doing
The wire hide mod, I've went back through those wires also to
Insure good connection.

I have a multimeter but I don't know what pins to check for what.

If it was shifting fine prior to the "wire hide mod" then you might want to go back and check your work.

Is the harness oil soaked? Is the individual wire insulation compromised in any way? And... what exactly is a wire hide mod anyhow?

It's in the apearance stickys. That big bundle of wires on your passenger fender are rerouted. Looks much better.

It was my wiring. I had one connecter wired exactly backwards. I must have had my reference photo upside down. Problem is fixed now. Thanks for the help.
