Default 700R4/4L60 TV cable adjustment. Please Help

I have a 1993 Trans am and just bought a level 3 transmission and trying to get the kinks out. The first problem I was having was the trans was going from 1st to 2nd around 5 mph and shifts felt sluggish and felt like it was robbing half the cars power. I adjusted the TV cable as far to the firewall has it will go and it felt better and shift felt good, but when you put it in drive and floor it from a dead stop the trans automatically shifts around 3000 rpms and wont go any higher. Is there more adjustment somewhere else, the car already spins the tire when shifting from 1st to 2nd with normal driving. Please help!!!

How did you get from a stack shift adjustment to a extended shift adjustment?

Why did you put the adjustment to a maximum point like you did?

U need to push it all the way in, then get in the car and mash throttle to the floor, this will get close and u should adjust small like one or two clicks from this point

All I did was adjust the TV cable as far as it would go. I,m not even sure what a stack shift adjustment or extended shift adjustment is. Can I re adjust somehow. Please advise!!
