4l80e has shifter module on it

4l80e has shifter module on it It's a flat square box with 2 connectors on it with the shifter lever coming out of it. Do I need this for my 4l60 to 4l80 swap? It has the 2 speed sensors the main plug and this module with 2 connectors.

The neutral safety switch? NSS, yes you will need it. I would probably just unbolt it, and leave it plugged in. SOmetimes the plugs are "stuck" and can cause other problems.
