Default flexplate

OK so I'm using a 5.3l for a swap and just bought a stock flex plate for a 2001 ls1 Camaro. What's up with the weight on it?? Shouldn't it be neutral weight seeing it's and internally balanced motor?

It's what the computer pulls up for a 2001 5.7 Camaro. I found it odd too but online it shows the pic with the weight on it too.
