th400 short or long tail?

th400 short or long tail? Im switching to a TH400 this winter. I see it comes in a short or long tail. Does one have an advantage over the other? I assume I need one out of a two drive truck or car. Just wondering what I should look for.

Iirc, The long tail version was from trucks/larger cars. The short tail was from cars/small trucks. I know my Chevelle has the short tail TH350. From what I hear, a shorter driveshaft can be spun faster/higher than a longer one. However, IMO go either or. I don't think its THAT huge of a difference, but I would go short.
