Thumbs up TCI 3800 Props to Kevin winstead (TCI)

Well just to let people know , I just installed a TCI 3800 I received from Kevin in a converter swap. All I can say is that the converter is great, very easy to drive around town with and when the time comes to hammering it look out this converter is sweet , stays right in the power slot . I love it , just wish i did it sooner, AS ALWAYS THANKS KEVIN your a great guy to talk to and went the extra distance for me, I Will post some times when I get to the track hoping in april when all the snow is gone.

W/2800 and some horsepower loss issues it went 12.18 at 111mph with a 1.70 60ft.
Lost 17 rwhp due to something dont know what but I installed new valvesprings/pushrods/ls6intake/ B&M transpack/ and converter hoping one of these helps it out. DId compression check and everything was at 175psi, so after a new dyno tune (soon) I will take it out to the track.

Hoping to see 11s

Boomcase,
Good Luck this season. I'm thinking that you'll see some mid 11s before the season is up.

Seems like you had that streetfighter forever. You ran some great times with it. What is new shift ext.? Mine is around 4700rpm in 2nd and 4900 in 3rd.
Thanks Tony

Yea i have had the 2800 converter for like 3 years now and in 2 different years, it has done well and put some decent times down , No complaints about it.
Well from what i see on our accurate tachs (HAHAHAH/LOL)it looks to be around 4800/4900 2nd and about the same in 3rd. Really hard to tell like that though.

I run that converter and love it. best 60' is a 1.68 on drag radials with no suspension mods. I know the car has more in it.

that converter works look at my sig.
