ive been reading on here about not using synthetic ATF with a stall, im about to instal a yank ss3600, and iam now using MOBIL 1 Synthetic ATF. should i try to drain it all out and refill with dexron 3? or just leave it as is? i do not want to hurt anything. thanks

I run Yank last 11 years (ST 3600 and SS 4000 about 1 year) Dave said no Syn. each time I ask. You are going to get several differant answers on line I suggest you call and get the answer stright from "the hose's mouth "(Dave @ Yank )

Yank says no synthetic but they say yes to dex 6 which from what I gather is partly synthetic. I used dex 6 with my ss3600. Put 10k miles on it and so far so good.

Dex VI is a full synthetic and approved by Yank. I installed my SS 3600 almost 7 years ago with fresh Mobil 1, never an issue.

dex 6 if full synthetic? I wasnt sure before and a sponsor said it was a mix so thats why I said partialy.
But the funny thing is that on the yank card sent with my converter it says "we do not recommend any type of synthetic fluid at all." but after that it says "dex6 is ok."
Now why would yank say a big no to ANY synthetic but say dex 6 is ok if dex 6 is synthetic?
Im not saying theres anything wrong with dex 6 cause like I said...I run it with my ss3600. I put 10 brand new qrts in
