Default HELP! BMR TH-400 x-member doesnt fit right? Pics inside

So i finally went to install my BMR th-400 swap crossmember, and it fits the same as a stock M6 crossmember. With the trans lowered all the way and the poly mount installed, there is still a 1.5"ish gap between the crossmember and trans. The car has spohn solid motor mounts, I dont know if that has anything to do it or not. Anyone else run into this problem?

Did u double check the part number? I am in the middle of doin a t56 to th400 swap right now. my T56 crossmember was lower just like that. The new crossmember sits up higher for the th400. They might have shipped u a 6 speed crossmember.

I got it from a member on here, who had it moched up with a th400 and it fit fine, I think its the spohn motor mounts causing the problem. I made a 1 1/8" spacer and its good now. Sucks that I spent money on a crossmember to fit correctly when i ended up doing the same thing I would have with the stock piece.

If the motor is sitting that much higher, how the hell did you bolt the top bell housing bolts in? its a pain in my car and i got stock mounts that sit lower.

what K-member do you have in the car? maybe the engine mounts are normal but where they bolt to the K-member is different than stock.

The Spohn mounts are like 1/4" longer I believe and don't allow the engine to roll to the rear and give it that angle. Although when I had them in my car with the 80e the xmember was good.
