I didnt and I bought mine used, it had less miles on it though. You'll def. love it, and probably will want to go bigger but for a bolt on car its good. Good move on the tranny cooler that will save you alot of life on the trans.

You have to get a transcooler with a small convertor, otherwise the trans will overheat and throw codes. Years ago, a few people tried to install convertors without coolers, and all of them had overheating problems.

Doesnt matter how many miles are on it, that doesn't mean that it couldn't have some metal or junk in it. Get the convertor flushed, & if you are going to get the stall changed, send it in to the co & get it done.

Mine stalled out @3600-3700 & was good for 11.49 with an average 1.52 60, and a best of 1.50. Def a great convertor. Best to launch from a 1000-1100 idle, then hammer it from there when the lights go down. I tried every other way, & this worked best for me. Good luck.
