Default Cheapest way to get speedo reading from th400

I need to know what guys are doing to get a speedo reading when running a th400. The past two years I did the front abs sensor thing but I pulled the entire wiring harness out and now I need another way. The sensor is still there but without having a brain I didnt think it would work anymore. Let me know what you guys are doing. Thanks

Like I posted in the OP this ^^^^ is how I did the past couple of years but I tore out the entire pcm and harness. I still have the front abs sensors in stock location since thats where I pulled my signal from but I dont know if there is a way to make them work.

Look into a Dakota Digital VSS adapter.

How do they work, do I have to take the housing off and that, or does it just pop into the driver side hole on the housing?

when i did my vvs swap into my th400 i had the tranny out and the sensor goes into a hole in the tail housing ( some th400 trannys dont have the hole) and then you need to press the reqular ring onto the output shaft and wire the sensor to the imput of the speedo on the ecu its really easy...then im guessing you need to reprogram the ecu to read right

I have one of these laying around that I never used.

http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.c...rod/prd126.htm

I bet you could hook it up to the drivers front abs sensor and wire it to your speedo. It will step up or step down the signal depending what you need. Make me an offer if interested.
