Hey guys, I have a problem with my 4L60e in my 96 Formula.. It basically slips horrible when manually selecting 1 or 2 but it runs fine thru all the gears when in 3 or D.. I've chased for an electronical problem with no success.. This is all what I've changed:

1.A and B solenoid
2.Force motor solenoid
3.3-2 downshift solenoid
4.Pressure Switch Manifold
5.Internal tranny wiring harness
6.PNP switch
7.PCM

I've also changed the fluid and used Lucas Transmission Fix but the car runs exactly the same..

I've gotten to the conclussion that I need either to rebuild my tranny or get it replaced and I've found a 4L60e from an Avalanche but I don't know if it will fit in my car and if not, is there anything I can do to make it fit, maybe swapping parts with the original tranny?
The tag ID of the Avalanche tranny is 3CHD... Appreciate any help guys, thanks!

If its a 2wd trans it should work just fine.
