It sucks man but my car is doing the same exact thing,I was just driving home one day, going about 50mph when I noticed my trans was slipping.I gave it some gas but the engine just revved up.I drove the car maybe a week longer then I decided to park it until I can i can get it rebuilt.

Actually I have to pick up my rebuild kit today,so hopefully this weekend my dad can start pulling the trans out and what not.

I'm gonna have to rip it out then. The fluid looks great so I don't know if the tc is ok or the clutches. Where'd you buy your rebuild kit ?
