Default Getting Built Tranny, which brand converter? Thinking about REVMAX??

Ok, so my tranny took a **** on me last night... Limped home in 2nd gear. Today, no reverse, 3rd or OD...

The new tranny is being built as I type. Getting the raybestos clutches z-pak and Beast shell.... Solenoids and all that other crap... should be a tough unit. Im pretty much stock but will do an H/C upgrade next summer so I wanna see what this will do with stock motor... Now, Im trying to find a converter. Im looking for something that will flash around 3k now but will obviously go up with more power... Im wanting an end result of 3500 after cam/heads...

My question is, what is the deal with the 9.5 10.5 and 10.75 converters I keep seeing? I am leaning towards a Revmax (If he PMs me back). I just dont know how to choose which stall to get. What stall do I have now? Im assuming I have a stock unit. The current converter has low stall speed and is not painted. 99.999 percent sure its all OEM. I was told that the 60s came with different converters and that I wouldnt know till I took it out. Any help or suggestions?

We've got 3 revmax converters. One is in my DD. All of the ones we have work fine. I'm gonna be ordering another one very soon and it will be a revmax too. Just call revmax and let them explain everything.

You'll like it. Its all I really wanted for a DD. Mine has been a good unit so far. I hope you have good tires. Good luck!

I just upgraded to some 315 Nitto DRs and a 342 rear.... This should put my stock internal car safely into the 12s...(fingers crossed)

My car is all stock with 2.73's and it wouldn't even come close to hooking at the track when I put in the converter. I just got a 255-50-16 DR last week but the damn rain won't go away long enough for me to try it at the track. Do you run it at the track?

I just saw your profile with track times. PM me and tell me how much difference your converter makes at the track if you ever take it back.

Just got the car back and WOW...!!! I cant believe how hard it rolls out... its sooo easy to drive too... lock up at around 45-50... easy cruising but get in it more than half throttle and it really wakes up.... I couldnt be happier...
