Converter installation....almost there, but 1 question...
I slid the converter onto the input shaft...spun it a bunch of times and I believe it is seated as far as it will go. When I put a straightedge across the bellhousing and measure from there down to the mounting lugs on the converter, I get about 1 1/16".....is that far enough?
I have heard it should be 1 1/4", but it doesnt seem to want to go any further.

Oh yeah. Heck you are probably done by now.
I did mine 2 weeks ago. If not, measure from the back of the block
to the flex plate. That dimension will be less that what you measured on the trans to T/C because after you've bolted the trans to the motor then you'll bolt up the T/C to flex plate and the T/C will pull out of the tranny a little.

Oh yeah. I have the TR224, 112lsa that will go in as soon as my 6.0 (shaved)
