Default Tips on keeping TH350 alive behind high HP turbo motor?

As I am getting my car dialed in it is starting to concern me how long I can reasonably expect this transmission to live. I had it built by a local guy who is very well respected and builds a lot of high HP stuff (he also built the converter), but at a certain point I think the th350 is limited by it's design.

No idea on what HP I am putting down, but car has gone 6.3 @ 114 on a very lazy launch (track wasn't hooking so I had to leave with no boost). I still have a little ways to turn it up, but lets say it safely makes ~700rwhp.

How often should I be changing the trans fluid?

I have spoken with some other drag racers who are using tractor hydraulic fluid vs. trans fluid as it is much cheaper and they change it much more often. Any opinions?

Any other tips/tricks to keep this sucker alive? I retained the auto valve body as I still drive this on the street and like that it shifts automatically, I am not running a t-brake, and I have a check valve on the vacuum modulator line. Converter is sligthly looser then ideal, but is pretty good, foot brakes to ~3800 and flashes around 4700.

The 350 is highly underrated when it is built with the right parts. All of the lightweight 350 c and 250 parts are right at home even with high horsepower. Also the 350 lockup makes a great piece when used with the right aftermarket lockup converter.

Im also looking to keep my th350 intact behind my hi hp fi car.
I really prefer a th350, but all the builders ive spoken with say it cant be done. Need a th400. I alredy know that.
thats not what im asking. I know the th400 is better, but i would prefer to keep a th350.
Motor scheduled to make close to or break 1000bhp and plan on 7000rpm shift points

Op. Not trying to jack ur thread. Im tryin to find useful info or builder also.

You can use the 350.The thing is it is going to need some good parts and a blueprinted rebuild. Are we going auto shift ,manual shift, tbrake?
