Default Is it possible?

Just finished putting in a 4l60e in a 98 vette and it has no gears, seems like there is no pump pressure (haven't tested yet)....what it the possibility if the converter wasn't sitting all the way in to mate with the pump? I would think if the notches didn't line up it would stick out and wouldn't be able to turn the flexplate and converter seperately when the trans was all bolted together or is that still possible? Just trying to diagnose and rule out things
Thanks

Oh man nothing more frustrating than that!

Here's the definitive test that will tell you what to do without wondering about the how's and why's right now. Take a cooler line loose at the cooler. The lower line off the tranny is the outlet to the cooler. If you do not have any fluid flow then the pump is compromised.

Try that and get back to us buddy.

Thanks, do you know what line is the inlet at the trans? The top or bottom onlines...i rather not mess with the cooler lines at the rad cuz I've had problems with them before.

The top line is the inlet.
