best 4l60e rebuild kit for 600+hp?
Iv been doing some research on 4l60e rebuild kits. I am making 600+rwhp on n20. Im looking for the best/strongest kit for the money. What are your opinions?

Keeping in mind that I'm no trans expert, but am well read and have experimented with nearly every part listed in that kit, here are my comments:
1. It is a nice kit with many "lesser known" parts that make a difference. (Like the Sonnax 2-3 shift valve.)
2. According to other builders, a brand new reverse drum is mandatory to use any extra-wide band. So another $80.
3. Getting a complete kit with a modified Transgo shift kit, with matching springs and pre-drilled separator plate is a good idea. Better than mixing parts and hoping for the best.
4. Some would recommend 5-pinion planetaries (only GM/AcDelco brand!) especially for the rear, but I don't see a consensus on that. (I bought them for my 4L60E and my 4L65E already has them.)
5. Only the 3-4 clutch raises a red flag with me. Thin steels (less than 0.093) are notorious for overheating and bending. Many suggest a max of 7 or 8 frictions; never 10. I was told that while a 10 friction setup will hold huge HP, they will need frequent (yearly?) replacement.
Hopefully more experienced people will also give you feedback on this kit.
