Default Tranny pan ?'s

what is the tq for the bolts?

do you use silicone with the pan gasket?

My pan leaks ever since I changed the mm's and installed headers. I think I warped the pan while jacking the front of the car up to get the headers in.

8 ftlb... if it starts squishing the gasket then its too much.

No silicone.

Check that the inside edges of the bolt holes don't stick up; if they do use a hammer to carefully flatten them down (support the pan on an avil/vise immediately below where the hammer will hit).

Did you remove all the old gasket from the pan and the case...?

Is the gasket surface on the case clean, flat and free from gouges...?

If you lay the pan upside down on your bench does it lay flat...?

Are you sure that's where it is leaking from...?

i bought a new pan and gasket at the dealership. I will install both this weekend. Hopefully this cures the leaks. The pan and gasket only cost $34.

It is still leaking from the same location as stated above.

Is it possible that I cracked the casing while I installed the mm's?

I need any suggestion to get it fixed. Any idea will be helpful.

I don't have any. I am sending it to the shop tomorrow. I need experts to figure this out. It sucks having to share a car with the wife.

Where is the pump located at?

Could I have messed up the seal for it?

I got the tranny fixed. I pulled one of the tranny lines out of the case. I had to replace the plastic insert and clip. It only ran me $125. All is good now. I can continue to install my new exhaust system.
