Yank SS3600 & Fluid
Hey everybody
This week my converter finally arrived.
I life in Germany so it's kinda hard to find the right parts sometimes..
I got my motor and tranny removed from the car right now, so my question is, when I install the new converter, and change the fluid, do I need to change filter? what filter do I need and could I use "liqui moly ATF 1100"?
I still have some at the shop.
Do I just have to drain the fluid out of the pan and the converter?
My car has 60k miles on it, just finished installing a new cam and bolt ons.
I don't think there has been a trannyfluid change done to it.
I know this has been discussed alot, but I did not find the right answer...
Thanks for your help!
Ole

use no synthetic, fill the converter with fluid before installing, go easy on breakin on the converter, I would/do not change the small seal on the filter neck,
do a search for 4l60e filter seal
