Default Some advice "gets stuck in gear"

Ok guys please help these are my problems. Took my car for a test drive and aslong I baby it works fine no problems shifts fine. When I floor it @ 30-40 roll it rips the tires off feels great. THEN the problems begin. After that it feels like it gets stucked on second gear. I get to a stop it feels that its taking off in second gear and doesn't shift anymore. Turn it off for about ten minutes works fine again aslong I baby it. Feels more like and electrical problem than a mechanical. Mods are H/C/ yank ss4000. Thanks for reading any help is appriciated.

Get it scanned for codes. In most cases the limp mode condition you are seeing is caused by a transmission code. This will explain why when you shut the car off and reset the computer its fine. If the stall is some thing you recently installed you will need to delete the "tests" for the P0751 and P0757 codes with tuning software.
