Default 2002 Trans Am 1-2 shifting, and highway shifting problems

I have a 2002 Trans Am and Ive been having alot of transmission problems. The problems are when im just starting off the line at any throttle position the car will just continue along in 1st and not shift until i let off the throttle. 2nd problem is while driving on the highway at around 60mph. Ill go WOT and the transmission rpm will go to redline and stay there until my foot is off the throttle.

I previously had a home ported maf on the car, but I read that it is bad for the transmission so i bought a new Maf. and also, I just replaced the TPS to try to remedy the problem

I have Headers, Catless Y, deleted rear 02 and AIR, Slp Airlid and smooth bellows, and K & N Filter. Also Just had my computer tuned by frost to remove the Cat, 02 and air codes...

Sounds like your ride has lost Low 2.
When you hammer down at 60, its trying to grab 2nd and its not home.

This is merely a guess / assumption on my part.
My car was doing the same thing,( Clutches wore out ? ) its headed to the Shop for a Race Re-Build, Trans-Cooler and a 3600 Stall.

Won't be long after that... I am sure the 10 Bolt will die.

Thanks for the reply... That is not really what i wanted to hear, but i was thinking that it wasnt going to be a simple fix.

I guess im going to have to let the car rest while i save up the funds for a rebuild, unless someone else would like to shed some light on the subject
