need advice on a stall.
so i just picked up a camaro. im doing a "budget build". i dont plan on tracking the car. mostly a weekend street warrior. and everyone from here runs from rolls for the most part. is a stall going to help me from roll racing? i understand how they help from a lauch. but a roll does it have any advantages? if so what are they and is it gonna be worth the cash. i plan on doing lid, full exhaust, heads, cam, possibly a hundred shot. need advice if i truly "need" it. trying to keep the costs down. and i truly dont wanna slap a new rear end in is why im so worried about the digs. lol possibly during next winter ill swap out the rear and do some tracking.

Yes it will make a huge difference in any form of racing... I just had my built tranny and 3800 Vigilante stall finished on my car. And it is Awesome!!!
You will need a Tune to have your shiftpoints adjusted. I had it retuned as well.

Stalls can help from a roll as well because for the shift extension AFTER the car is tuned. Obviously a tune is required when installing a stall (ok well it isn't required, but you should get one) and the tuner will change shift points and a stall will help keep the RPM's up for going from a roll. But yeah, from a dig is where they really shine, as long as you have suspension/tires to handle it lol

I got a fti 3600 stall with a 1.78 str and it is perfect for street tires because it don't hit the tires so hard.Know if I want to spin them I can do that too.Perfect converter from a roll.awesome top end with the low str.
