Default Ratchet shifter or anything like that?

Hey guys a quick question for ya.

Seen anything like a ratchet shifter for our autos?

I've only seen things like new shifter grips. (I rode in an 89gta that had a ratchet shifter)

Any benefits to this? Thanks!

Thanks man! I appreciate it, any pics of how yours looks installed?
Would I have to cut up the stock center console piece?

More then likely, I'll have someone install it for me cuz I'm not super knowledgeable when it comes to transmissions

I haven't bought anything yet and from what I've seen you can retain the stock console except the plastic where shifter moves back and forth. hope that helps. i do plan on getting it once i get my car back from the speed shop, I'm doing it myself.
