4l60e bellhousing bolt question
So I searched and searched and cant seem to find anything on my current problem.
Im in the process of putting the transmission back in and I have one bolt that is longer than the rest. I dont remember where it goes. I figured the top one, but I have it in as far as it will go and its still sticking out. Where does it go? I forgot to make a note of it. Help?

What kind of engine are you connecting your 4L60E to?
On an LS engine, you use 8 40mm long bolts. The bell housing has 9 holes, but only eight are used. With an LS engine, you have at bolt at the top (but not at the 1 O'Clock position).
