Default what needs to be done to a 80e to stand up to 700rwhp

Do a turbo 5.3 in a 65 mustang... Weight will be around 3000 lbs. Gonna do a billet converter. What kind of rebuild kit should i go with, i want to keep an automatic v/b? What shift kit? Thanks- Nick

Good solid assembly, I would add a clutch to the direct pack, dual feed the directs, and that's about it.
You are borderline for needing a billet input shaft, but with the light weight and turbo's coming on smoother than a N2O combo, you will probably be OK.

As a point of reference, our Stage 2 would work but if it were "my" car I would do a Stage 3.

I would go with our Stage II kit. It has everything to do it RIGHT.
